About Us
There is an old adage, "Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it." This definitely applies to God! For almost a decade, my husband and I longed for children, but fertility specialists declared us barren. In desperation, I turned to the Blessed Mother, promising to paint a nursery in Her colors (blue and white) if she would send us a child, either in the usual way or via adoption.

We pursued adoption and nine months later our paperwork was complete and we brought our son home! Today, we are blessed with six children, the rest of whom arrived naturally. Evidently, we had to listen to God first to find our oldest son, before He would send us the rest of them.

Prior to having children, I had a lovely garden, abundant with flowers and vegetables. As I mourned the loss of my gardening time, now that I had so many small children, a wise friend smiled at my children and remarked, "Well, these are your flowers now."

So here I am, homeschooling and tending our garden of sapling souls!  Making rosary bracelets for you is just a tiny way for me to connect with our larger Catholic Faith Family and follow the advice of Our Lady of Fatima -- to spread the Joy of the Rosary!
"God regards not the greatness of the act,
but the love with which it is performed."

"Still Life with Symbols
of the Virgin Mary"
In a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages, many people plant a "Mary Garden", with flowers bearing their original names in honor of Our Lady.  Some of these plants and flowers include the following:

About Our Rosary Wrap Bracelets
Every thing we do, from parenting our children to saying a prayer, can be a flower offered to the Blessed Mother. She, the most perfect Mother of all, will convey our meager gift immediately to the Heart of Her Son, Jesus Christ. As at the Wedding Feast at Cana, He will not refuse Her motherly supplication.

Jesus is pleased with even our humble efforts, as He admonished, "I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven," (Matt. 18:3). Surely He will not turn away those children who approach Him from beneath the gentle and protective folds of Our Lady's mantle.

At Ave Momma, each rosary bracelet and piece of jewelry is individually hand crafted by me. I pray and create our Rosary Wrap Bracelets with you in mind, in the hope that praying the Rosary will enable you to "bring flowers of the rarest" to Our Lady, in the form of the gift of prayer, as she draws you ever closer to the Heart of Her Son.  Vive Jesu!  May Our Lady be your joy!
